Guest guest Posted May 7, 2009 Report Share Posted May 7, 2009 Baked Seasoned Squash 2003 - James or j_g_242002 Ingredients: 2 acorn, butternut, or whatever winter squash you have on hand. 1/2 cup water 1/4 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup butter 1/4 tsp black pepper 1/2 tsp seasoned salt 3/4 tsp basil Wash squash and cut in half. Remove seeds. Pour the water into a baking dish and add the squash cut side down. Bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Take out of oven and let cool a little. Scoop squash out of shell into 2 quart casserole dish. Add the rest of the ingredients, stirring well. Return to the oven and bake for 15 minutes. Serves five.
