Guest guest Posted May 7, 2009 Report Share Posted May 7, 2009 Delicious and Easy textured soy protein Ingredients 1 onion,chopped 2-3 garlic cloves diced 1 cup textured soy protein 1 green pepper chopped 2 tomatoes diced 1 can of baked beans in tomato sauce 3 tablespoons of barbeque sauce a dash of chili pepper, salt and pepper Jalepeno pepper(optional) Directions: Soak textured soy protein as needed. In a little bit of olive oil fry onion and garlic. Add textured soy protein fry till Textured Soy Protein has a golden color. To this you add the chopped pepper, tomatoes, beans, bb sauce, and spices. Add to this a little bit of water so the mixture does not burn out. Simmer 20 minutes. If wanted spicy add the Jalepeno pepper at the end Serve with whole grain bread. DELICIOUS!
