Guest guest
I have about a 5 gallon bucket full of fresh, beautiful carrot tops. I am dehydrating some to powder and add to my beet green powder. Is there any other use for them? I think I read somewhere that carrot tops are high in something (Oxalic acid??) so they can't be eaten in large quantities. Guest guest
I'm not picky and I eat every green around but carrot tops taste so bitter, just terrible. I have tosses a few into the soup pot but that's about the onbly way I can tolerate them. Maybe good homegrown fresh ones taste better. Donna I've been smiling lately, dreaming about the world as one. And I believe it could be someday, it's going to come. Guest guest
I like planting the cut off tops of carrots in a rich damp soil and seeing them grow into new carrots. Much like how we grow pineapples. ~Beth~
Guest guest
All of our dogs not only love carrots but will pretty much eat all kinds of vegetables including bell peppers and broccoli!! The image of a dog sitting on a smashed snowman, munching on the carrot nose is great!! Nancy C. > This made me laugh so hard! I can just imagine the scene....LOL. I had not heard of other dogs liking carrots so much, glad to know my dogs are not weirdos (well, they are but for other reasons...)
