Guest guest Posted December 24, 2008 Report Share Posted December 24, 2008 Broccoli In Savory Mushroom Butter Sauce 3 packages frozen broccoli spears 1/2 cup butter 2 1/2 teaspoons instant bouillon 2 medium onions, sliced and separated into rings 1 jar sliced mushrooms, drained 2 teaspoons cornstarch 3/4 cup water 1 teaspoon chopped pimento or roasted red pepper Cook broccoli according to package directions. Meanwhile, in large skillet melt butter; stir in bouillon, onions and mushrooms. Saute until onions are crisply tender. Dissolve cornstarch in water; stir into vegetable mixture.
