Jeanne - I'm Italian and use a lot of capers.  There are people who don't like

them.  Do as Donna said, just a little juice from something pickled..

 

Alia - If a recipe calls for capers it's best to use them or a salty substitute,

they add a certain flavor, they aren't in a recipe for their looks.
