OT: non-leather pumps?

I would just like to say, that in our earnest attempts to do right by nature

and by animals, it is far worse to employ petroleum-based plastics of any

sort in any application than it is to use a natural product like leather.

Plastic shoes does not exonerate one from the further effects of a product

which never breaks down and which human beings have introduced into the life

chain at every level, down to the microscopic. The consequences of this

will take an eon to be played out. Plastic is not an acceptable substitute

for leather, ever. Mark
