Donna Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry Audrey Snyder <AudeeBird Mon, 15 Jun 2009 09:34:50 Strongbow hard cider - and chocolate cake We went out for my dad's birthday this weekend to a place called Yard House, which has tons of different beers on draft. i'm not a beer drinker, so I was happy to see a couple of kinds of hard cider on the list -- I like Woodchuck, that was my " beer " of choice in college, but decided to try Strongbow because I had never had it. That stuff is awesome, very light and sweet! Looked it up online today and found that it's the best-selling cider in the UK, and I can see why. Just had to share. Daddy requested a " small " chocolate cake, made from my not-so-secret recipe from the back of the Hershey's cocoa powder box. That recipe really is fool-proof -- I halved it and it still turned out perfect! It was also a good excuse to go buy two 6 " cake pans, too -- now I can make darling mini cakes! (I get way too excited about cake... and cookies... and brownies!) Hope everybody else had a good weekend with lots of good food and drink, too! Audrey S.
