Make your own Granola,

It's so easy and you can add all your favorites.

It's so expensive to buy and has so much sugar added.

If you make your own you can use honey.

I made Granola for years when the children were young.

Try also making your own Trail Mix. I recently encouraged mother and auntie to

make theirs. They are both in their 80's and love snacking on it but some things

like the whole peanuts,almonds or dried hard raisins were not easy for them to

chew. Now they buy slivered almonds and all their favorite dried fruits such as

dried papaya,pineapple, yellow raisins, chipped coconut,sun flower and pumpkin

seeds and dried cranberries and create their own trail mix.

There are recipes in our files for Granola. When I made mine for the children I

used wheat germ and whole oats.

We also try to use all organic ingredients in ours.
