Vegetarian Rice Nut Loaf recipe

I always get rave reviews when I make this! I hope you will like it too!

 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

 

Ingredients:

 

1 1/2 c. cooked brown rice

1/2 c. wheat germ

3/4 c. chopped walnuts

1/4 c. sunflower seeds

1 onion, chopped

1/2 lb.(2 c.) shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/2 tsp. salt and pepper to taste

4 lightly beaten eggs

 

Combine all ingredients and pack into a well oiled 9 " loaf pan (or

other metal pan if you don't have a loaf pan). Bake for about 45-50

minutes until firm. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then unmold and

serve.
