Guest guest
Try the Worthington vegetarian luncheon " meat " slices. They make wonderful sandwiches. Fruit, canned or fresh makes good lunches. If she has access to a microwave that someone can help her with, send soups and left overs from dinner. Campbell's makes good vegetarian vegetable soup, tomato and mushroom soup. Send some cheeze-it crackers for her soup. Cheese and crackers are another option. Veggie sticks with ranch dressing. Ants on a log - Celery with peanut butter spread in the channel and raisens pressing into the peanut butter on top. Check out our sandwich recipe files and appetizers recipe files. Great stuff in there. Judy The one place I know I lack is in packing lunches. I am trying to think outside the box but would love any ideas you have. My dd saw the sliced tofurkey in the cooler case at our local health food store and thought she wanted to give that a go. So at least I have that and pb and j until I can come up with more lunch box ideas. Melissa Blount
Guest guest
another thing that she would enjoy are the Hunt's Gel's that come in 4 packs. They have no gelatin in them. Also the puddings and some vanilla wafers. Pretzels and ranch dressing is yummy too. Guest guest
Those flat bread/wraps make a good base for a lunch, they just need some sticky ingredient to hold the roll together. Hummus and peppers, pb and j, pb and shredded carrots, soyanaise and salad, tofurkey slices and laughing cow cheese spread. They all wrap up pretty well. > > >
