Guest guest
Does anyone have one that doesn't contain lard or veggie shortening? I have a lot of bananas to use up and we are burnt out of making bread and muffins. Steph

Guest guest
I tried to freeze some extra banana (without peeling them though) and when I defrosted them, the bananas sort of... melted, leaking a sugary syrup! Is it OK when they behave like that?? Thanks, ElenaP from Italy > > > On Behalf Of Marilyn Daub > Tuesday, January 27, 2009 4:52 PM > > Re: Re: Banana cookies > > I freeze my extra bananas, too. Guest guest
Eww... sounds like just a bi-product of defrosting them. I never defrost them, just use them frozen, and always peel them first, then wrap them individually or in pairs in aluminum foil. Audrey S. Guest guest
if i have a bunch, i puree them, then pour in either ice cube trays or the small solo plastic cups, then freeze, then repackage as necessary... i rarely have a lot though i love bananas in savory dishes too, so i usually don't have any leftovers, I usually eat them all up before they have a chance to get ripe hope everyone is having a good day, we got about 4 inches of snow here ! --- On Tue, 1/27/09, thelilacflower <thelilacflower wrote: Peel first and if they are really dark and over ripe they do get very mushy Donna Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry

Guest guest
It's snowing here right now -- about 16 degrees F last I heard. I don't think we're supposed to get anywhere near Pete's 4 inches of snow, though. I would rather have Donna's sweatshirt weather! Guest guest
I would never make it in that weather. I don't know how you do it.
