Hi my name is Shelley and I am new to your group. I want to learn to cook

vegetarian for my health. I do not know how to do this. I used to cook with

lard then changed to canola, and I thought this was hard. Now I am on a journey

to learn how to cook healthy vegetarian, if I can manage this I will be a very

happy person. I usually use a crock pot due to me being extremely busy but I am

ready to try easy dishes. I also have tried tofu, I am sure it is because I

don't know how to cook this but my was is nasty. Any helpful tips would be

appreciated.

Here is my recipe which is really pretty good. I don't know how healthy the

ingredients are. This is why I asked to join your group.

Shelley

Yummy Chai Tea Mix

2 tablespoons

2 teaspoons nonfat dry milk powder

2 tablespoons and 2 teaspoons powdered non-dairy creamer

2 tablespoons and 2 teaspoons French vanilla flavored powdered non-dairy creamer

1/3 cup and 1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon white sugar

1/4 cup unsweetened instant tea

1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/8 teaspoon ground cloves

1/8 teaspoon ground cardamom

You can change the French vanilla creamer and use 2 tsp vanilla extract instead,

just mix into the sugar and let it dry then crumble the sugar.

Mix ingredients in a blender until it is the consistency of fine powder.

To serve: Stir 2 heaping tablespoons Chai tea mixture into a mug of hot water or

ice cold milk. Serves 6
