It's so hot now if I forget to shut the bathroom door I end up with a slew of cats in the tub and sink. Dot Com was miffed when I kicked her out to brush my teeth a few minutes ago. To make this vegetarian ---- my cats and dogs love vegetarian food but none of them will touch okra, either before cooking or after. If I have rice leftover when it is time to feed the animals, I divide it between the cats and the dogs. Ursula won't permit either of the other dogs to eat, so even after all these years, I spoon feed the dogs. They will line up in order of standing in the community with Ursula the Alpha Queen of All She Surveys, her henchdog Sophy, number 2 in charge and Toby, now the sole male. (We just lost our darling Gunny.) One of these days I'm going to get my son to video tape it and put it on You Tube. I think it is a lot like feeding triplets, complete with drooling, spoon dropping and fighting over who got the bigger serving of applesauce. (They like that, too.) They will eat from chopsticks and Toby snapping noodles off the chopsticks with his jaws clamping shut is a laugh. (Yes, they do have their own feeding spoons and chopsticks I use on them.)
