Hello all, I'm new to the group. I'v been a vegetarian now for just over two

years which has not been easy as none of my family and friends are, so I have

had little support. When I came across this site yesterday I thought WOW

somewhere for me to talk to and get advice. Should have checked out these

sites ages ago.

When I became a Vegetarian 25 plus years ago my family and friends thought I was

*going off the deep end*. I live in Cowboy Cattle Ranching Country. There was

not a single *health food store* in our town and organic was unheard of. Oh how

times have changed. Now everyone seems to be on the " eat more veggies " band

wagon. The parking lot at the health food market is filled and every plain old

market in town has organic fruits and veggies. Almost every restaurant in town

has Vegetarian options on the menu. It seems to be the *in* thing now to say

that one is *Vegetarian or Vegan*. Plus they're going *Green*. Pre cyclers and

recyclers are everywhere. They are the ones carrying the cloth shopping bags.

You are in for some fun times and good eating. Soon people, young and old will

be knocking on your door asking for advice.

Check out the recipes and invite your friends over for dinner.
