Hi Cindi,

I am new to the group too. I'm a " vegan wanna be " vegetarian. I don't use cow's

milk and try to stay off the butter and cream, but so far can't give up the

cheese and sour cream. The eggs we eat are only from our very own hens (it's a

growing community - backyard chickens). This way we know the hens are really

truly cage free, happy, well fed and cared for. They retire here as well when

they quit laying. We just have two layers and one retired lady. (
