Guest guest
My sister called me today and she is expecting. (Yeah!) She is 49 years old and concerned about her health- especially developing high blood pressure and diabetes, so she had decided to try a vegetarian diet for this pregnancy. Surprisingly, her doctor suggested it, and gave her some really bland recipes for her to try. So far she is HATING her vegetarian dining experience and she called me for some help. I wanted to give her some nutritionally dense, but flavorful recipes to try that aren't calorie dense or full of fat. Any suggestions? I am scouring my cookbooks and the recipe folders, but you all always have such great insights, I'm hoping that you can get my brain jump started the shear volume of choices has been overwhelming I am not sure where to start. Peace, Ande www.ANDECosmetics.com
Guest guest
There are great recipes using avocado and beans. Keeping fresh fruits and veggies on hand help steer clear of unhealthy choices. Congrats on the new addition Cassie " life's a garden, dig it! "
