Guest guest
Your stool *should* get red from eating beets! In fact, one of the self-tests you can do to see if you have a healthy bowel transit time is to eat a cup of red beets and then see how long it takes for your stool to turn red. It should turn red in under 24 hours. I ate a cup of beets at 5 p.m., and my morning stool was red, so it only took about 12 to 13 hours for me, which is pretty good. - DJ
