Guest guest
What I used to do is mash up steamed potatoes, add minced veggies, salt & pepper and mixed herbs and just enough mayo to form them into balls. I haven't done this in years but kids love them. What's also good is to mash up cooked potatoes, add beaten egg, breadcrumbs, seasoning, onion, sauerkraut (yes sauerkraut LOL). Roll into balls, dip in egg and seasoned breadcrumbs and fry. Those look great! Until I can get my hands on the Manga cookbook where she got the recipe, does anyone have a recipe for something like these? My kids would love them! You can find them on this page (scroll down to Jan 6th): http://veganlunchbo x.blogspot. com/2009_ 01_01_archive. html And she also has them on this page: http://veganlunchbo x.blogspot. com/2008/ 08/naruto- roll-and- jyagatama. html Thanks, Sharon
