Two of my medicines come in gelatin capsules, without a non-gelatin capsule alternative. I've spoken with a local druggist who will try to order my meds so he can put them up in vegan-friendly capsules but it will cost more, of course and my insurance won't cover " luxury " items. There are a lot of things which we take for granted, thinking they are not made with animal products. Glue, pearls, mother of pearl, things like that.
