Smart Balance light with Flax seed oil is vegan, Reg. smart balance has dairy in it. Both taste great. We also love the smart balance spray that is near the butter. We use it on corn on the cob. Just delicious. I love that Smart Balance and Earth Balance are both have no transfat and is non-hydrogenated. BTW nothing wrong with gluten unless you have an allergy to it, but it isn't in these products. I asked because my daughter-in-law a several members of her family are on gluten-free diets. It has eliminated her health problems.
