Cucumber Gujhiya Ingredients: for 5/45 min for gujhiya: 150 g refined flour, ½ tsp salt, oil for filling:250 g curds, 1 tsp red chilli, 1 tsp coarsely ground roasted peanuts, ½ tsp roasted cumin seeds, powder, 2 grated cucumbers, 1 finely chopped green chilli, a few finely chopped coriander leaves, salt to taste Method: Tie curds in a muslin cloth and hang it for five to six hours so that the water drains out. Grate cucumber and squeeze out juice. Mix the thick curd with all the filling ingredients. Add salt and one tablespoon oil to the refined flour andknead a stiff dough. Make small balls of it and roll into puris. Spread a table spoon of the filling on one half leaving the edges free and fold the other half over to enclose the filling, moisten the edges and press. Pinch the edges giving it a wavy pattern or use a cutter. Deep fry in hot oil on low heat until brown. Sushma KK Add more friends to your messenger and enjoy!
