Guest guest
Thanks for the insights and I have passed on the congrats to Millie. I think asking for ingredients is a really great idea especially because of sensitivities. I think putting cards out with each dish is excellent I had not thought of it but it makes sense! We lost a congregation member three years ago to a food reaction at a party. She had a nut allergy and she ate a desert made with some kind of nut paste. She was only 18. I can't help but thinking that having a simple card by the tray could have saved her life. I'm sending an email out to all the guest who have RSVP'd already letting them know that we are going to need that info before we can serve their dish.. Thank you. (BTW- The smell of meat cooking makes me sick)
