Guest guest Posted May 15, 2009 Report Share Posted May 15, 2009 Carob Coriolanus 1 cup black mission figs 1/2 cup water 1/4 cup dates, pitted 1/8 cup water 1 tablespoon carob powder 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts Soak the black figs for 2 hours in the 1/2 cup water. Soak the dates in 1/8 cup water for 2 hours. Blends all the ingredients, except the wamnuts, in a blender at medium speed until thick and creamy. Pour into small dessert cups and sprinkle with the walnuts. Refrigerate until you are ready to serve it. It can be kept tightly covered in the refrigerator for 5 to 7 days. Yields 4 servings.
