Guest guest Posted May 16, 2009 Report Share Posted May 16, 2009 I adapted this leaving out the anchoives, Rich Pomodori Acciughe 1/4 cup olive oil 3 heaping tablesppons of mashed capers 2 cloves garlic, minced 2 small red chili pepper, chopped 2/3 cup black olives, chopped 3 leaves basil, chopped 3 tablespoons parsley, mince 12 ounces marinara sauce penne pasta,cook, drained In olive oil sauté‚garlic, chili pepper and olives. Sauté‚a few minutes mthen add capers and basil, parsley and marinara. Simmer for 5 to 10 minutes. Serve over penne shaped pasta or spaghetti.
