Guest guest
Welcome to the group. We have some great people here. I avoid powdered or liquid non-dairy creamers since the labels say they have hydrogenated oils of some kind and corn sugar sweeteners. What type tofu did you try? For saute, stir fry and baking main dishes I always use extra firm. For puddings etc I use the soft tofu. ~Beth~ shelley.rodgers <shelley.rodgers Hi my name is Shelley and I am new to your group. I want to learn to cook vegetarian for my health. I do not know how to do this. I used to cook with lard then changed to canola, and I thought this was hard. Now I am on a journey to learn how to cook healthy vegetarian, if I can manage this I will be a very happy person. I usually use a crock pot due to me being extremely busy but I am ready to try easy dishes. I also have tried tofu, I am sure it is because I don't know how to cook this but my was is nasty. Any helpful tips would be appreciated. Here is my recipe which is really pretty good. I don't know how healthy the ingredients are. This is why I asked to join your group.
