Guest guest Posted June 8, 2009 Report Share Posted June 8, 2009 Hi, I am hoping to get and share recipes here and get some questions answered. I love to cook and am a " foodie " . I would like to transition to being a vegetarian " foodie " . I have been on a vegetarian-directed journey for about 15 years now. I haven't been able to completely cut meat from my diet yet, but I believe it is just around the corner. My family is not vegetarian directed at all, so it's difficult to try and make them happy with non-vegetarian meals (although they don't eat a lot of meat) while making myself separate vegetarian ones. Another problem I have is that I can go about 2 weeks without eating meat, and then I get meat cravings. I am wondering if this might be because I'm not making sure I'm getting enough protein, or something else, from what I'm eating, therefore I get cravings. So my aim right now is to try and experiment with that to see if I can stop those cravings. I am also interested in raw food recipes as well.
