Guest guest Posted March 12, 2009 Report Share Posted March 12, 2009 Baked Brown Rice for 2 1/3 cup brown rice 2 tbsps. onion, chopped 2 tsps. butter or margarine 1 cup water 1 tsp. veg. bouillion, I use a chik flavor from Whole Foods Saute rice and onion in butter or margarine for 5 to 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Place in a small casserole; add water and broth base. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Garnish with chopped parsley or almonds. Serves 2.
