Donna Lentil-Potato Burgers 1/2 cup chopped onion 3 celery stalks, chopped up 2 tablspoons olive oil 2 cups cooked, drained and mashed up lentils 2 cups mashed potatoes 1 cup whole wheat or white bread crumbs 1 teaspoon dried parsley or basil 1 1/2 teaspoons dried sage 1 teaspoon thyme little salt & black pepper little dried crushed pepper flakes Preheat oven to 350F Saute onion and celery in oil until tender, then combine everything in a bowl and mix well. Form patties and place on a well greased baking sheet. Bake about 15 minutes and turn and bake another 15 minutes. You can fry these up in an oiled skillet too. We gotta stop smokin', stop, stop.
