Yup! I've got an ancient copy of The New Good Housekeeping Cookbook. I

rarely make a recipe the way it's written, but that thing, like Betty

Crocker, is awesome at simple stuff, and spelling out exactly what you need

to do. I got a copy for my sister when she moved into her first apartment --

it tells you how to fry an egg, etc. :)

I love Good Housekeeping, Betty Crocker, Fannie Farmer, Redbook, Sunset and

Better Hones and Garden cookbooks.
