Guest guest
I have been a member of this group for a few months, just getting around to saying hello. I have been a Lazy vegetarian for about a year and a half. I am 25 years old, and live on my own so i am as frugal at times with my food budget. I eat way too many carbs, and sweets and not so much good stuff! I do make some pretty decent crock pot soups/stews but with one person it gets old eating all week. I have a bunch of dried beans especially pinto. A lot were given to me, they look like antiques, but my mom said these beans never go bad. They tasted ok when I ate them, but how do you know if they are good or bad? I never had pinto beans before so I wouldn't know, they were a little bland, and the shell type part came off. the packaging seriously looks about 20 years old. Im experimenting with beans. any feedback on them would be appreciated. pinto especially. I seen the recipes but I wondered if there were catagories for different bean recipes. thank you group!
