Guest guest
Need some ideas on how to avoid motion sickness, dizziness, nausea when I get on an airplane next weekend to go see my sister. I'm so excited to get to see her, but I just dread the flight for 24 hours beforehand because I know I'm going to feel sick for almost 2 hours -- the 1-hour flight plus about an hour to feel normal afterwards. Cars make me motion sick, too, but at least I can usually get some fresh air by rolling down the window -- planes are really bad... When I went for Thanksgiving, I took one of the over-the-counter meclazine pills -- didn't do a darned thing. I've heard ginger is supposed to be good to help with nausea -- does it work for motion sickness, and how do I take it? Any other ideas? Audrey S.
