I am posting Shahi Bread Bhalla recipe. It is taken from my book

Vegetarian Homestyle Cooking.

 

 

For 4/15 min

Ingredients:

8 slices sandwich bread,

2 green chillies,

500 g curds,

125 g cucumber,

75 g onion,

5 g ginger,

1 tbsp pieces of cashew nuts,

½ tsp sugar,

a few sprigs coriander leaves,

to taste salt, black salt, red chilli, roasted cumin seeds

powder, sweet chutney, green chutney

Method:

Cut bread slices into round shape using a cutter or a steel cup.

Finely

chop cucumber, onion, ginger, green chilli, coriander leaves and add

cashew nuts, red chilli and salt. Spread this prepared mixture on a

slice, cover it with another and press them together. Similarly,

prepare all the slices and wrap them in a moist cloth. Beat the curd

and add sugar to it. Before serving, put the bhalla into the curds.

Add spices and chutnies to taste.
