Guest guest
Has anyone ever encountered people who are resentful of you just because you do not eat meat? I have seen this reaction on rare occasions. At those times, I was not crusading for animal rights. (I am not an animal rights activist, although I respect the rights of others to make that choice.) Nor was I openly advocating a vegetarian diet or speaking badly about meat. I was just eating a strict vegetarian diet or stating that I was one when questioned about why I did not have any meat on my plate. Negative attitudes began to surface and some sarcastic comments were made. These behaviors seemed strange to me, because most people I come in contact with see the benefits of a vegearian diet or just accept an individual's right to choose what he or she wants to eat.
