Guest guest
My little English " dumpy " rolling pin is a short one too and it is so much easier to use than a long pin. Has anyone ever used one of those rolling pins that has rings of different depths that you slip over the ends of the rolling pin so you automatically roll the dough out to the correct thickness? I have always wanted one but never did get around to getting one.. We roll our cookie dough, pie crusts, pizza crust, crescent roll dough, biscuit dough, crackers, you name it. Another thing I love about it is the leverage you get with this one and the fact that you don't need a lot of space to roll out the dough in, like you do with the big rolling pins. With the big rollig pins it isn't as easy to roll our smaller sections of the dough thiner if needed and you need so much extra counter space to roll the edges. Yes I LOVE thrift stores!!!!! Guest guest
Boy I'm feeling behind the times. I have 2 rolling pins., one a basic wooden one I probabl got as a wedding gift and one Asian one I just bought when my beloved kitchen store went out of business. I haven't even used it. i used to have a marble one but it disappeared over one of several moves.
