You are so lucky to have your Gran's rolling pin.....how wonderful. So funny,

your Gran was born in 1897.....my paternal grandmother, Mary Elizabeth

Davis, and my grandfather, Fred Davis, who lived in southern Illinois, got

married in October 1897!! I don't have

either of my grandmother's rolling pins but I do have wooden butter molds that

belonged

to them. My Davis grandparents were in their mid-70's when I was born. I

wish I had

been able to know them after I was grown.....so many questions swirl around in

my head

now when there is no one to ask.

heavy wood.

I am 73 years old and have an old rolling pin that MY Mom discarded.

 

Now this has to be a pretty old rolling pin,
