Guest guest
Karo, The Magic Bullet is okay, but it is not as great as a good blender, like a Vitamix or Blendtec. It is better than some of the cheapie smoothie makers, but not as good as a full-size machine. For example, you cannot put a ton of frozen fruit in there and expect it to work. It is not powerful enough to handle that. You would have to cut things up smaller and use less frozen stuff in order to successfully use the Magic Bullet. It doesn't seem to handle the flax seeds quite as well, either. I have one at the cottage and it is good enough for a lower use situation like that, but might not last if you have a big family and use it daily. If you can get one at a garage sale or thrift shop, then it would be cheap enough to test it out and see if it is right for you. If you can afford it, I look at the high-powered blenders as a good investment in your health. I use mine daily and I am healthier because of it. I have not eaten any commercial cereal or junky type of breakfast in a year or two since I got it. Hope that helps. Mary in MI
