Guest guest Posted January 24, 2009 Report Share Posted January 24, 2009 Broccoli with Fried Garlic 1 1/4 lbs. broccoli florets\cooked 1 1/2 tbsps. olive oil 6 cloves garlic, peeled and thinly sliced lengthwise Place broccoli in a steamer basket over boiling water. Cover saucepan and steam 4 to 5 minutes or until bright green and almost tender. Heat oil in a heavy nonstick skillet over medium heat. Sauté garlic slices about 3 minutes, stirring frequently, until golden. Do not burn. Using a slotted spoon, transfer garlic to drain on paper towels. Sauté broccoli in same skillet 3 minutes or until heated throughout. Stir in garlic, and salt and pepper to taste. Makes 4 servings. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
