Guest guest Posted March 27, 2009 Report Share Posted March 27, 2009 I've been a member of this fabulous group for quite awhile but never posted before....guess that makes me a lurker...sorry. I've been vegetarian for 20 years but like a recent poster, usually eat too many carbs and some junk food. I love bread, rice, pasta etc. but have cut those out in order to lose weight AGAIN. I lose but quickly gain back when I return to my regular eating habits. I eat a lot of fruits and veggies and sometimes worry that I don't get enough protein. I eat eggs, a little veggie cheese but feel that beans and legumes are too fattening. Thank you for the recent delicious sounding recipes especially the Eggs Jeanette, Tomato Couscous salad, Pickle relish etc. I tend to gravitate to recipes that have familiar ingredients and that do not seem too time consuming....I used to spend more time cooking but as I get older, don't enjoy it as much.
