Guest guest
What is bread machine yeast as compared to rapid rise and 'regular' yeast? Do I need to buy a separate yeast for when I do things by hand? Or can I use bread machine yeast for both? Thanks, Uhura
Guest guest
Hi Uhura, " Bread Machine " yeast is just the same as " instant " yeast and not much different from " regular " yeast. If you find a kind that works well for you (like Fleischmans in the inexpensive 1 pound bricks at Costco!) you can use it for any purpose for making yeast breads. Remember to store it closed in the freezer and it will last forever and can be used immediately.
