Guest guest Posted June 19, 2009 Report Share Posted June 19, 2009 After rinsing your lettuce, dry it and wrap it in slightly damp paper towels then stick it in the fridge. It will be lovely and crisp when you serve it. For lunch today I lightly buttered some fresh multi grain bread made earlier this week and went out to the garden for a tomato and lettuce. I think we'll do that for dinner as well. Nothing like grazing in the garden. Carl's Japanese radishes are ready too, so maybe I'll put one on his sandwiches.
