Guest guest Posted December 30, 2008 Report Share Posted December 30, 2008 Sauerkraut soup 10c water 2 cans sauerkraut 1 can drained kidney beans 1 med onion chopped 1 tsp liquid smoke 1/2c baco bits 1/3c cold water 3TBS cornstarch Combine 10c water, kraut, beans, onion, liquid smoke and bacos in a soup pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until onions are clear. Mix together cold water and starch then add to pot. bring soup back to a boil. Serve. We had this soup tonight and it was yummy with a little sprinkle of pepper on top. Enjoy.
