This onion recipe is a nice compliment to veggie burgers. But I like to top mashed potatoes with them. Julienne slice 1 or 2 onions(depending on size) and sautee in a small amount of olive oil When lightly browned and translucent add 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar and 1 tablespoon of Agave Nectar. salt and white pepper to taste. Allow to simmer for apx.5 min. Serve warm or cold Note: You might also want to try sliced fresh garlic sauteed with the onions.
