Guest guest Posted July 1, 2009 Report Share Posted July 1, 2009 I REALLY like the sound of this but I love butter beans. * Exported from MasterCook * Butter Bean, Tomato And Olive Salad Recipe By :Rose Elliot Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Salads Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 3 tablespoons olive oil 1 tablespoon wine vinegar sea salt freshly ground black pepper 1 medium sized mild onion -- peeled and sliced 450 grams tomatoes -- (1 lb) skinned and sliced 425 can butter beans -- (15 oz) drained or 125g (4 oz) dried butter beans, soaked, cooked and drained 8 black olives (8-10) Put the oil and vinegar into the base of a wooden salad bowl and add a little salt and freshly ground black pepper. Then put in the onion, tomatoes, butter beans and olives, and turn everything gently to mix the ingredients, making sure that all the flavours blend.
