Guest guest
Try this one if you like. You can juice it up if you want. http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Mild-Curry-Powder/Detail.aspx Rich in Nevada --- On Fri, 6/5/09, Jeanne B <treazured wrote: Jeanne B <treazured Lost recipe - mild curry Friday, June 5, 2009, 1:01 PM Well drats. The computer I keep all my recipes on died today. Unfortunately it was the one without mirrored hard drives so the data is gone or too corrupted to recover. (Insert naughty language here.) I promised to make some mild curry powder and the recipe I use is gone. I think I got it from this list (I hope I did). If anyone remembers a mild curry powder recipe, please would you post it? All I can remember that I put in it, for certain, are turmeric, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, but I know there was a lot more. I've been looking online for one that feels like the other one but so far no winners. Please sweet veggie family, don't make me go back to using good old McCormick's. Don't get me wrong, it isn't bad, I just really liked the home made mix. Oh, and it wasn't hot. I like hot and spicy but my gut doesn't. (insert grumbling and more naughty comments here - I'm tired.) Grumbles and hugs, Jeanne in GA PS: the tornado went over our house and missed us - cool looking - sat down a few miles away. This would have been the third one I've been in, phew, glad it kept going. Some down draft damage to our 300 plus year old oak. Keep our good oak friend in mind. Loosing the house would be bad, loosing the tree would be devastating.
Guest guest
I saw that but it has some things in it (mustard yuk ptooie) which is on our no fly list. I remember using a lot of assorted spices and roasted most of them in my heavy skillet before grinding and of course Of course I ended up getting a little close to the grater when doing nutmeg and cardamom. (Donna got me hooked on using that in so much more than cookies!!!) Thanks! Jeanne in GA
