Guest guest
I want to make a peppermint cheesecake for Christmas, but I'm nervous and want to test it first. Does anybody see any major errors in my thinking if I think I'm going to make only a 1/2 recipe to test it -- and not put it in my springform pan, just a corningware pan? If it turns out good, I will eat it -- I will eat it ALL! I don't want the calories or to burn myself out on it. Think that will work? I'm using a cheesecake recipe I've used before, but using different crust, adding peppermint extract and crushed peppermints on top (which I know will " melt " unless they're added immediately before serving). Thanks! Audrey S.
