Guest guest
Hi Debbie, I think I'm going to try the matzoh ball soup in Vegan with a Vengeance this year. (As much as I love tofu, I have a really hard time wrapping my mind around tofu in matzoh balls, but I'm going to be very, very brave and it give it a shot, lol.) Have a wonderful Passover! I love this simple charoset recipe. (It's also very good with pomegranate juice. I omit the optional honey and think it's just sweet enough-yum!) Peace, Mo Charoset (from Still Life with Menu) 2 cups shelled walnuts 5 medium sized tart apples 2-3 teaspoons cinnamon 2 tablespoons honey at least 1/2 cup grape juice or sweet red wine 1. Grind walnuts to a coarse meal by pulsing them in 5-second increments in a food processor. Remove. 2. Core apples, but don't peel them. Cut into eighths and use a food processor to grind them into tiny pieces (not pureed). (Do this in at least three small batches, or it will be a mix of mush & big chunks.) Add to nuts. 3. Add the other ingredients, mix well, and taste to see if anything needs adjusting. Cover tightly and refrigerate until serving. Serves 6, more or less debstall3 wrote: > Looking for passover recipes.
