Guest guest
Gary, I make a black bean burger close to this recipe and I have added all kinds of things. I have put in corn, mixed veggies, instead of two cans of black beans I have used one can and used either pinto beans, butter bean or kidney beans. I have also put in celery, mushrooms. That is the one think I love about my own burger recipes, the possibilities are endless. Hugs, Mindy , Gary Mattingly <gsmattingly wrote: > > I wonder if you could add some epazote to this. I set it up with all he fixin's for my hubby (not veg) and he enjoyed it (and it was very filling). If I didn't HAND it to him all ready to eat, he wouldn't chose it himself, but he's pretty good about trying new things. > > Make sure the beans are DRY and that after forming the patties you chill them for a bit (and they freeze well too!).
