Guest guest
We have heard it all in here. Follow your balanced vegetarian diet and you will feel better, more energy, better results when you have your next physical. Just don't become a vegetarian junk food junkie, we do have those too, don't substitute your meat with heavy amounts of cheese and other dairy items, remember those have plenty of calories and cholesterol too. If you aren't fond of certain veggies, try to dice them up and add to soups and stews, look in our recipe files for different ways you cook them. There are so many different brains and grains to try, give them all a try. I'm stuck on red quinoa now and I also cook the black Japonica rice more often. Whole Foods has a mix called Old World mix and it has a few types of rice with black eyes peas, red lentils and other good things in it. I find it in their bulk bin area. Have fun being a vegetarian, enjoy your mushrooms, Donna --- On Sat, 5/9/09, Karen <karogden2 wrote: I'll take your word for it Ann, thanks to all who answered my question. I'm only going to listen to people here, and not my real life people. Karo
