I have a funny Eskimo friend. When she comes down to visit I have to make burnt

cookies and also scoop the left over crumbs from cornbread, brownies, cakes and

pies for her. She love a plate of nothing but crumbs. She also eats the

crunchy burned bits of rice from the rice cooker and the burnt crispy edges of

casseroles.

when i was growing up with my brother, we would fuss over the scorched rice in

the rice pot..it was tasty and crispy..but we both were just good old southern

boys..my family ate rice at least 5 times a week and still are big rice

eaters..even for dessert (cooked rice with sugar or syrup on top)ummmmmmm!
