2- 15 oz cans drained, rinsed chickpeas

1/2 c. warm water

3 T. lime juice

1T. tahini

1 1/2 tsp cumin

1 T. garlic

1 tsp salt

2T fresh cilantro

 

Blend chickpeas, water, lime juice, tahini, cumin, garlic and salt in blender

until smooth. Add extra water if necessary. Transfer to bowl and stir in

cilantro.

 

54 calories, 3 g. protein, 8 g. carbs, 1 g. fat. 0 chol., 2 g. fiber and 112 mg

sodium.
